The Logitech Wireless Mouse MX

This is a superb mouse and I would say is one of the best that I have used. Following are some of the features of the Logitech Wireless Anywhere Mouse MX, which I like:

* Staying on the laptop at all times is the innovative nanno receiver.

* It is wireless so there is no worry of matching or pairing it and you do not have to wait for long to get going.

* It can be brought wherever you are. The word “anywhere” is completely true!

* Though small in size, all the buttons that you need are present.

* It has a superb dual-mode scroll wheel to make scrolling fast and flowing.

* It is designed ergonomically not withstanding its small size.

* The on and off switch underneath also acts as a protective flap for its sensor.

* It comes with a handy carrier.

So what are the differences between the Logitech Wireless Anywhere Mouse MX with that of the VX Nanno.

1. The size. The Anywhere MX is heavier compare with the VX Nanno which is lighter by 30-40%. The batteries could have done it. Anywhere MX uses double “A” batteries while VX Nanno uses the triple “A”. Anyway, as I went on using it, I found out that you can use a single double “A” battery for the Anywhere MX thus making its weight lighter.

2. The Adaptability. The Logitech Wireless Anywhere MX works on any surface in contrast to the VX Nanno, which works only on shiny surfaces. The former can work on both shiny and transparent surfaces. In fact, you can use it even on glass.

3. The forward and back buttons of Anywhere MX has its buttons on its side to make it more convenient and accessible for the thumb. The VX Nanno has them on top. The side buttons of the Anywhere MX is really a big advantage over the VX Nanno as the latter’s buttons are not that great to operate. (In fact, it a common complain among its users.) I am happy that Logitech took this into consideration.

4. The on and off buttons make switching the Anywhere MX trouble free.

5. The innovative Nanno receiver. This feature of the Logitech Wireless Anywhere MX can support a number of devices so there is no worry to pairing it off. VX Nanno still has the old one.

6. The Price. The Anywhere MX is pricey compared to the VX Nanno which is about 40% cheaper than the former.

7. The USB Extension holder. The Anywhere MX must have forgotten this item when they thought of the whole package. VX Nanno has this feature which is a necessity for desktop users.

8. The handy bag. The pouch of the Anywhere MX is neat and tidy unlike that of the VX Nanno.

In summary, the Logitech Wireless Anywhere Mouse MX offers a lot of features in just a small room. It would be the most suitable portable mouse for someone with a small hand size and who does not need the application switch and middle mouse button. Not to forget is its very dear price as well.
